P6 are fortunate to be working with Jake Kane Outreach group this term to help improve our understanding of important social issues as they grow and develop. Over 8 sessions the children will explore topics including rights and responsibilities, cyber bullying, internet safety and community.
‘Today in class we learned about children’s rights with Davie and Diane. We learned that children should have rights because we are just as important as adults. We wrote down things that we should do in class during these lessons. These are:
Never be a bully
Always be kind
Be fair
Be positive
Treat others how you would like to be treated
Always share
Be helpful
Always listen
Help the teacher and others
Try your best
Think before you speak
Always have good manners’
