Yesterday, Monday 16th March, our P3 families gathered in St John’s Church on a wet and blustery night to celebrate the sacrament of First Reconciliation.
The children were supported by the parish sacramental team and celebrated the sacrament with Fr Jock and Fr Jim Smith. Afterwards, pupils and families had a small gathering in the hall to celebrate this important step in the faith development of the children.
Thank you to the music group who help set a prayerful and calm tone for the evening and to the P3 teachers who attended to support the children. Also a big thank you to the parish sacramental preparation team who helped the service run smoothly.
Well done P3, it was a lovely service.
