As we have done the past few years, St John’s will collect food donations to distribute these either to local groups or foodbanks over the next 4 weeks. This is an example of our Faith in Action. Each year we have been humbled by the generosity of our families and this year, more than most, families in our local area require help.
P5A will collect the donations, quarantine them for a number of days and then organise the donations into parcels.
Here are some things we would like to collect:
- Cereal
- Soup
- Pasta
- Rice
- Tinned tomatoes/ pasta sauce
- Lentils, beans and pulses
- Tinned meat
- Tinned vegetables
- Tea/coffee
- Tinned fruit
- Biscuits
- UHT milk
- Fruit juice
- A chocolate treat
Thank you for your support, it is very much appreciated.
