What a busy couple of weeks in primary 2! We have been working hard and learning lots.
In literacy we have been focussing on writing simple sentences by listening carefully to the sounds we can hear. We have also been continuing our work on writing about personal experiences, and loved writing an account about sports day this week.
In maths we have started to learn about grid references and have had a lot of fun playing different games on the iPads and learning to play battleships.
In our topic work we have been learning about keeping our brains and bodies healthy. Last week we learned about healthy foods and balanced meals, heading outside to design a healthy plate in the playground. This week we have been thinking about keeping our brains healthy, and learning about how to be a good sport and keep going when things get tricky.
We loved seeing so many of you here to support the children at sports day and hope you had as much fun as we did!
