Active Travel Survey

Dear parent/guardian,
We are excited to inform you that our extra curricular programme has been confirmed and will return from the Tuesday 21st September, assuming COVID restrictions continue to allow extra-curricular activities.
Please find attached the booklet with details of the Active School extra curricular programme we have on offer this term. Bookings for all sessions are made online using the link below and will open from tomorrow Tuesday 14th September: https://www.joininedinburgh.org/venue/361/
A big thank you to our sponsor and the parent council for their donations towards the extra curricular programme, allowing us to offer a substantial programme free of charge to all our pupils at St John’s.
I would like to highlight our cluster American Football “East Edinburgh Bears” that will take place at Holy Rood RCHS Astroturf, which starts from tomorrow Tuesday 14th September from 4-5pm. Further details can be found in the Community Club section of the attached booklet.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Many thanks,
Lauren
Final-St-Johns-Club-Booklet-Sep-2021St John’s are encouraging children to support Bike to school week (Monday 28th September – Friday 2nd October) by riding or scooting to school.
We would ask that children use the bike rack at the nursery entrance to the playground or the bike rack next to the staff car park to store their bikes/scooters. Last week a bike and scooter were taken from the small bike rack at the side entrance to Treverlen Park.
P6 pupils who enter the school from the park side entrance should dismount at the playground gate and wheel their bikes/scooters up to the nursery bike sheds.
Thank you

Please find attached information on our Virtual Summer Activities. We will be running this on twitter over the summer and everything can be found on our website (link below) to try and keep as many pupils active.
