Fridays Matter!
As part of the Holyrood Learning Community focus on attendance this year we would like to stress the importance of attendance every day, including Fridays. Children who don’t attend each Friday are missing 12% of their education each year the equivalent of 22 days per academic year. Each family will receive a digital copy of the letter below, a reminder of the impact of missing Friday each week can have.
In St John’s P1 & 2 have their assembly on a Friday morning, we have outside agencies such as Gold & Gray working with individuals on a Friday morning. Classes revisit the week’s learning and prepare children for the week ahead. Fridays Matter!
