Help imaginative play by voting for St John’s

St John’s will be featuring in a Tesco store near you in January/ February 2018. Stores are located from Princes Street to Leith and East Edinburgh.  The nearest to St John’s is at Tesco Express in the Esso petrol station near the Lady Nairne, Willowbrae.

We are up against 2 other local projects seeking funding for the Imagination Playground loose parts play equipment. Because we have reached this stage we are guaranteed at least £1,000 but we could get up to £4,000 if we do well in the voting!

To vote, tokens are given out when you buy something in a Tesco store. Place them in the St John’s slot.

BE SURE AND REQUEST A TOKEN AS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANTS TEND TO FORGET!!!

New School Plans

The plans for the new school and an opportunity to meet the design team will be available in the hall during both consultation sessions on Wed 9th and Fri 11th March.  There will be an opportunity to speak with the team and to see how proposals for the new St John’s are taking shape.  The design team are very keen to meet you and to make sure as many parents/carers as possible come in and see the plans.

Plans for the 3 options for the new park are also available to view here.  https://newparkforeh15.com/ and in the stairwell closest to the main school office.

The consultation process has ended and the final decision will be made by Craigentinny and Duddingston Neighbourhood Partnership at their meeting  on Thurs, 17th March, 6pm at Parsons Green Primary.  All residents welcome.
