Pupils in primary 5, 6 and 7 are invited to start the day ( Tuesday and Thursday) with a walk / run challenge around the Figgate pond. We have a rewards system in place: 10 visits ( Bronze), 20 visits ( Silver) and 30 or more ( Gold). Pupils are encouraged to take responsibility for signing in and keeping track of each time they visit the park.
The register can be found just outside the gym hall.
Younger pupils are also welcome to attend but must have an adult/parent coming along to watch or run alongside! Please note that Mrs McIntyre (PE specialist) will always be in the park to supervise all the runners from 8.20 to 8.45. We look forward to welcoming new walkers/ runners to join our dedicated, enthusiastic and determined group.
