Review – Litter Scotland sticker competition entries have been submitted and sent off.
This month’s theme is litter awareness. We have booked a workshop for next Tuesday 10.45 -12noon for ECO rep.
We have a new competition to enter this month. It is similar to last month’s in that it is about designing a sticker, this time for Animal Guardians programme for the Scottish SPCA.
The criteria is as follows:
At least one animal
The words Animal Guardian and Scottish SPCA are to be clearly visible
Only one entry per school
Deadline is in a few weeks, all children given a sheet, those interested should return it ASAP.
Winning entry will be chosen and sent on 1st February.
ECO members were reminded to continue to ‘Switch Off Fortnight’ in their classes, remind recyclers to put paper and cardboard in the correct recycling bins and remind children not to litter in the playground.
Our next gathering is next Tuesday at 10.45 in thfe ICT suite for the ECO team litter workshop.
