P3B Learning Blog 14th May 2021

P3B have had a busy yet exciting week. We were very fortunate to have Mrs Almond join us for a literacy lesson which we all thoroughly enjoyed. We have also performed a drama section trying to match emotions to an action. In Science we have enjoyed planting our seeds and were very excited to find that our radishes had germinated. Children have taken time to research an animal of interest that lives in the rainforest in order to present to the class next week.
Here is the feedback from the children with regards to what they have enjoyed this week:
Freyja:”I have really enjoyed fractions this week especially chopping shapes up into the different fractions.”
Kieran:”I have enjoyed spelling this week I learnt the rule that if you were adding -ing to a word that has an e at the end to drop the e and add -ing.”
Demilade:”I have enjoyed learning new tricky words this week.”
Marco:”I enjoyed the story of Jack and the beanstalk. I also enjoyed talking about the different parts of the story like was Jack rich or poor and when the beans got passed around for us to touch them.”
Nel:”I also enjoyed Jack and beanstalk and I found it funny with the giant shouting Fe, Fi, Fo, Fum. I also really enjoyed watching how beans grow.”
