P5 created their own still life using natural forms such as shells and stones . They looked at the different values of very light to very dark to create their artwork.
P5 spent time looking at tie dye pattern techniques . They experimented on paper with markers and water to see what would happen when ink and water meet.
They then took their ideas onto our new art aprons.
Aren’t they bright and bold! Well done p5, art time is going to be even more colourful
P7 excelled at tonal studies in our Scottish pop art project in art time . They graded the shades with pencil to complete the other half of the monochromatic image.
The p7 classes looked at designs for tea light holders . They considered various clay techniques such as thumb pots, slab work and surface decoration
They carefully designed and made their own tea light holders for the leavers mass
Next they will be considering colours and glaze to make them shine!
During outdoor learning the classes from p3-p7 focussed on woodland creatures and their habitats.
Working with clay the classes created their own creatures and painted them with care.
