Category: Learning At St John’s

The children were set the challenge of using a minimum of three different materials to create a piece of art of their choice. Designs were drawn up and the creative process began. Everyone enjoyed sharing their final product and discussing their work.

We walked in beautiful Spring sunshine to visit St John’s this morning. We followed the Stations of the Cross around the church, looking closely at the images and reading the words. We admired the incredible structure of the church building and explored the special places within the church. The children spent time saying their own quiet prayer.

We looked at the church from Brighton Park and managed a quick play before returning to school.
