P3A blog written by Mette and Ellie
On Monday, we did some maths outside. We split ourselves into equal groups. We also did times tables.
On Tuesday we painted trees for the rainforest topic. We also went over what we wanted to learn about the rain forest, also learned the importance of the rainforest.
We learnt about the āaiā and āingā sounds on Wednesday.Ā Ā Did you know you can have two āingā sounds in the same word?
Thursdayās lesson included learning about mass and weight. We used our bodies as human scales, measuring the weight of different objects. Weighing is important for cooking. We measure in grams and kilograms.
We revised the āingā sound on Friday. We also did our reading.
