Today is World Book Day. P2B spent the day celebrating books and sharing their favorite characters with the class.
We then shared our books and characters with the class. We enjoyed asking each other questions about our favorite books. We asked questions like: why do you like that character? or what’s your favorite page of the book?
We discovered that P2 were very knowledgeable of Harry Potter, and that we all agreed that Mrs Trunchbull was a really bad lady!
After we shared our books, we decided to plan and make our own! Some of us wrote a story based on our character, while others wrote a story about themselves and their friends.
P2 learned that by celebrating books, we are promoting reading across the world. P2 showed amazing enthusiasm for literacy today! Well done P2!
