Hello,
We hope that you all had a restful break.
In P3, we have jumped straight back into our school routine, and we are enjoying some familiarity after the craziness of Christmas!
The P3 Team also wanted to say a huge thank you for the lovely cards and gifts given at the end of last term. We truly appreciate all of the thought and effort that went into these gifts.
Here are some updates about P3 and the next few weeks:
P3 School Mass
P3 are leading a school mass, during school time, on the 15th of January at St. John The Evangelist church.
This is the first time that pupils will have led a school mass, and we are very excited to show the school, and Father Jock, what we have prepared.
If you have been contacted to be told that your child has a speaking part in this mass, please practise this part with them at home. The part has been sent home with pupils.
Homework and Reading – Starts the week 20.1.25
P3 are very busy preparing for their school mass, and so reading and homework will begin the week beginning the 20th of January. If you have reading folders at home, please send these in with your child.
NYCOS – National Youth Choir of Scotland
Over the next 7 weeks, P3 will be having weekly music and singing lessons lead by Heather, a music teacher with the National Youth Choir of Scotland. This will involve pupils learning about beat, rhythm, how to use their voice, and singing in a group.
PE Day Change
A reminder that PE days have changed again for P3. The PE days are as follows:
P3A: Tuesdays and Thursdays
P3B: Mondays and Tuesdays
