Today, Primary 6 got started with their work on Big Writing. They were given an extract from a story about a hideous beast to discuss at home and today their task was to continue that story.
They started by brainstorming some interesting examples of vocabulary, connectives, openers and punctuation. Then, they put this into practice by working in pairs to uplevel some boring sentences, making them much more exciting!
We think they did an amazing job, and their hard work paid off, because the final written pieces were of a very high standard! Well done P6!
