Tomorrow we celebrate Ascension Thursday, the day Jesus ascended into Heaven, 40 days after Easter Sunday. Normally we would, as a school, attend mass at St John’s or St Mary Magdalene’s.
Tomorrow, children are invited to join Bishop Joseph Toal for a schools mass using this link www.rcdom.org.uk at 11am through Facebook live.
There is also a short video embedded below which retells the story of Jesus from his Resurrection to Pentecost and the coming of the Holy Spirit.
Lastly, please keep Primary 4 pupils in your prayers this week, First Holy Communions should have been taking place this Sunday and in two weeks time and we are very sorry that this special day will have to wait a while longer.
