A huge well done and thank you to all the fantastic volunteers who manned the St John’s Water station at the Edinburgh Marathon on Sunday. With the early crew starting at 0600 and late risers joining at 0745 it was a full on morning unscrewing bottles and getting soaked handing them out to thankful runners.
As well as being a fundraiser for the school Parent Council, the event allowed parents and staff to work together outwith school with a common goal. Everyone took part enthusiastically and should feel proud of their involvement in this important event. It even inspired some staff to sign up for a 5K run!
