Our Cultures
We are hoping to gather a range of recipes from around the world. We hope to collate these into a recipe book. We would love it if you could share some recipes from home – a handout will be coming home this week and also below.
Writing
This week we are continuing to write about Plop the Barn Owl – inspired by the story ‘The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark’. We will be using adverbs to describe how Plop is acting e.g. nervously, hesitantly.
Maths and Numeracy
In numeracy this week, we are learning about creating equal groups and using arrays. Here is a short video explaining arrays video.
In our money topic we will be learning about using the correct coins to make totals. Perhaps if you are shopping you can talk about what coins you would need for an item or even pay in cash!
