This is our last week of term! On Wednesday, during assembly, we have St John’s Got Talent! A huge well done to all the acts who auditioned.
Literacy
Here are our tricky words this week: Easter, rabbits, chicks, egg, carrots, celebration.
Our sound this week is ‘aw’. Some words to practice: yawn, dawn, lawn.
Writing
This week we are using the skills we have learned retelling ‘The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark’ to create our own story.
Numeracy
In numeracy this week, we are revising multiplication and division. We have been learning our 2, 5 and 10 times tables. Try playing hit the button division game or practice using arrays to solve multiplication problems with this game.
RE
We are learning about the Jewish celebration of Passover.
