P.1 Teddy Bear’s Picnic

P.1 had a very enjoyable Teddy Bear’s picnic this week. They brought in their teddy or favourite soft toy and took it on a walk around Figgate Park accompanied by parent helpers. They then settled at the large grassy area to play class games such as Duck, duck, goose. They sat with their teddies and ate their picnic snack. After playing more games they finished off with an ice lolly which was welcome on such a warm day. It was a great morning!
All the staff in P.1 would like to wish you all a great Summer.

At home they can practice double sums and apply their knowledge to near double sums.

In RE P.1 were learning about Mary the mother of Jesus. They learned that May is the special month for Mary. They looked at rosary beads and said the special prayer for Mary, the Hail Mary.
