Book Week Scotland

Dear Parents and Carers,

Monday 16th November – Friday 20th November is Book Week Scotland. This will be a focus for us in school next week and classes will all be spending time learning about books and authors together. Celebrations will be a bit different than they usually are owing to current restrictions but we would still love for our families to be involved in some way!

BOOK BAGS:

P1-3 children will be gifted a book bag as normal so look out for these coming home over the next couple of weeks. We usually invite our P1 parents in to join the gifting event. As this is not possible there will be a link for parents to watch the P1 children hearing about their book bag with a special appearance from Mrs Kelly. Keep your eyes peeled for more info. 

DRESS UP FRIDAY:

Children may dress up as a book character on Friday 20th November. They may also dress down. We are looking forward to seeing your creations! Here is a link to some inspiration:
