
Mr Burgess was delighted to greet 14 hard working pupils from P1-7 to Tea with SLT this afternoon. Oscar and Sophie from P1 had worked hard with their numbers and sounds this week. In P2 erica had produced excellent work all about the number of the day which today was 7.
Euan joined us from P3 for always being ready to learn and also displaying excellent problem solving skills in maths. Reyes and Amilya also from P3 made an informative leaflet all about Egypt and completed a detailed and accurate science experiment all about mummifying tomatoes!
Evan’s writing in P4 has improved hugely and Charlie has been very focused and hardworking in class. Well done boys!
Sophia and Aidan from P5 made detailed and creative leaflets about the importance of conserving Scotland’s wildlife and from P6 Charlotte wrote a very descriptive poem about Nessie which included metaphors, similies and amazing adjectives!
Shuaib from P6 has been an animated and enthusiastic reading buddy during paired reading with P2, in Primary 7 Christina shared an excellent original story she wrote about a character named Bug. Orla also from Primary 7 has been an exemplary classmate displaying kindness, thoughtfulness and being inclusive.
Well done to all our pupils this week, lots of fantastic achievements for us to celebrate in St John’s!
